Hello
My name is Joe Best and I am the pastor of Trinity Baptist Church. My wife Karla and daughter Allyson serve the Trinity family with me. Karla and I also have another daughter, Kayla, that we lost at 8 days old in 2010. I have two married sons: Dylan to Grace the parents of our granddaughter Erika; Preston to Shelby, the parents of our grandsons, Cooper, Caiden, and Cole.
My Story
I grew up in Henderson, Texas and accepted the Lord as my Savior at 10 years old at Roquemore Missionary Baptist Church. After high school I joined the Army and served as a medic for almost 24 years and retired in February of 2020. I surrendered to ministry in March of 2019 at Mountain View Baptist Church in Harker Heights, Texas where I served as the AWANAs director and pastor's assistant. The Lord brought us to east Texas in May of 2021 and we began to serve in Roquemore Missionary Baptist Church where I was the youth pastor and my wife taught Sunday School and Master Club. I graduated from Liberty University in March of 2026 with a Masters of Art in Theological Studies and in May of 2022 with a Bachelor's of Science in Religion with a focus in Christian Ministry. In August of 2022 I was called to be the pastor of Trinity Baptist Church and began as the pastor on September 11, 2022. I am blessed with a great Christian family and look forward to serving our Lord in the Carthage community. God bless.
